Curtis Carll

Biography:

Mr. Carll’s practice focuses on a broad range of commercial and business litigation as well as employer personal injury. He has handled disputes involving breach of contract, trade secrets, copyrights, elder abuse, negligence, corporate breach of fiduciary duty, legal malpractice, unfair competition, fraud, and malicious prosecution. Mr. Carll has been lead, or co-lead, counsel on a wide area of matters, including defending a technology company in a trade secrets matter; representing the general partner in a multi-million dollar partnership dispute; and the prosecution of copyright claims on behalf of a jewelry designer. As to his approach to the practice of law, Mr. Carll says, “My role is to learn, understand, and achieve my clients’ interests and goals as fast and efficiently as possible. To do that, I approach every case from the start as if it will end after closing arguments in the hands of a jury, judge, or arbitrator. This preparation gives my clients the best opportunity for a successful result before formal litigation even begins, as well as during the many occasions for settlement before trial. If and when trial or arbitration is necessary, my clients and I are ready to win. I believe this approach allows my clients to move quickly on from this dispute, after it is resolved.”
